Wonderful new art work

This week, many new and exciting works of art have gone on display in the prep school. Not the works of famous masters, but the work of our very own students. Some abstract, some inspired by the likes of Jackson Pollock...............please see the pictures below of the work of our own talented masters and mistresses.......

Welcome to the Prep Creative Arts Blog

Welcome! This is the first post of many on our new prep school creative arts blog. During the last twelve months, the college creative arts blog has flourished with over 4500 views worldwide. Twelve months on, the creative arts team felt that a celebration of the wonderful work that goes on in our prep school was well over due and thus, here is our prep school blog.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will be updating our blog to reflect the diversity, creativity and dynamic approach we have to creative arts in prep. Creative arts have a wealth of value within the school curriculum in a completely unique and often unexpected way. Creative arts aid learning on so many levels, they help higher order thinking, they embrace diversity and they have huge cognitive effect on subjects like languages, maths and literacy. They build confidence and foster self belief, they embrace all the values of team work and even help the motor skills needed for sports. We have in place an amazing team of professionals who lead our students in Music, Art and Dance. We also have, as you will see, a hugely talented group of students. I invite you to view the blog as often as possible as it really will be a celebration of the amazing things that are being created by your sons and daughters. Let´s celebrate together the wonderful work of St George's College creative arts prep department..........................................
